We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team, on behalf of one of our major clients in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in project alignment with business goals and objectives. This role offers a hybrid working model and a growth-oriented environment, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the world of Digital Payments systems and Issuing & Acquisition Business.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects align with business goals and objectives, specifically within the context of financial services and payment solutions.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements in collaboration with customer stakeholders.
- Support the integration of various payment systems, gateways, and third-party providers into existing Issuing & Acquisition infrastructure.
- Communicate with technical teams to assess feasibility and efficiency of proposed functionalities, related to digital payment systems and card transaction management.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into clear and actionable deliverables, such as use cases and functional specifications.
- Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze and optimize the flow of payment transactions within the Issuing & Acquisition business.
- Participate in the design, analysis, and optimization of card payment flows, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and compliant with regional and global standards.
- Participate in planning meetings, offering clarifications and helping set priorities for the team.
- Provide support in creating and updating project documentation as required.
- Work with the implementation team to identify potential risks related to payment fraud, data security, and banking system integrity, ensuring that all proposed solutions adhere to industry security standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably within the financial industry.
- Quick familiarity with central and/or regional banking systems. Knowledge of digital payments systems, Issuing & Acquisition businesses is considered a strong asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and cooperative attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders and technical teams.
