We are currently looking for a talented Azure Engineer for one of our major clients in the Fintech sector.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage an in-memory database solution using Azure Cache for Redis or similar technologies.
• Host and configure data receivers using Azure App Services or Virtual Machines to ensure low-latency access.
• Configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNet) to enable secure communication between system components.
• Utilize Azure Private Link or VNet Integration for fast, secure connections.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the in-memory database and data receivers.
• Implement clustering or replication techniques to improve system performance and availability.
• Apply standard security practices, including encryption and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Use monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Application Insights to track and maintain system health.
• Work with developers to ensure systems meet application requirements.
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation for system setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate experience with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Cache for Redis, and VNets.
• Knowledge of in-memory databases (e.g., Redis or Memcached) and caching and replication fundamentals.
• Familiarity with configuring Azure Virtual Networks and secure connections.
• Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell or Bash) for automation.
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing virtual machines, app services, or similar infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate (preferred, not required).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
• Availability to assist with system updates or troubleshooting during working hours.
