As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong expertise in cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. This position offers a hybrid working model and is ideal for someone passionate about working in an Agile environment, responsible for delivering end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud setting for one of our top clients in the Banking Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Build and configure delivery environments that support CI/CD tools using Agile delivery methodologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using scripts/templates to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability and system performance.
• Monitoring and supporting all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively, evaluating application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing them with the help of Development teams.
• Contribute to defining the DevOps technology roadmap, toolsets, and strategies based on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline code delivery, integrate automated testing, and enhance workflows.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in cloud environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to improve performance and minimize downtime.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address challenges and improve processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Solid understanding and background in networking, VIPs, firewalls and load balancers.
• Security-minded with a focus on applying company security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure best practices (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools – eg Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and visualizations tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Expertise in managing and automating infrastructure with tools like ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile (Kanban or Scrum) methodologies.
• Experience automating database management and migrations is a plus.
• Self-driven, deadline-oriented, and closure-focused.
