We are currently looking for a talented Automation Tester on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

Location: Athens, Greece

Mode: Hybrid

Seniority: mid-level

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure product quality.
• Create and manage test cases, test plans, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
• Execute and analyze automated test results and report findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure compliance with banking industry standards, including security, audit, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Experience with one or more test automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, UFT, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Knowledge of banking processes such as payments, lending, core banking, or digital banking platforms.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
