Are you ready to be the first point of contact for employees facing IT issues and help ensure a smooth and secure system operation?

We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Administrator to join our client’s internal IT team in Nicosia, Cyprus, within the banking sector.

What You’ll Do:

General Requirements

🧑‍💻 Responding to front-end users’ requests and queries in a timely manner.
🛠️ Investigating problems and providing first level support to internal users.
🤝 Liaising with vendors for problem resolution.
🖥️ Setting up workstations.
🧾 Providing first Level Management for Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Networks, Switches, Servers, Firewalls.
👨‍💼 Cooperating and supporting System Engineers and other IT department team members.

Compliance:

✅ Ensuring adherence to internal policies, practices and procedures (e.g. compliance, information security, risk, health & safety, human resources).
🌍 Ensuring adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
📣 Ensuring the timely reporting of any discrepancies/cases of non-compliance to the appropriate individual (e.g. Compliance Manager/Money Laundering Compliance Officer, Information Security Officer, Head of Risk Management Function, HR Manager, etc).

Other Activities:

🧠 Keeping abreast with key developments and trends related to your own role.
📌 Undertaking any other duties and projects as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

🎓 Education

University Degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline

💼 Experience

Prior relevant experience is considered an advantage

Technical Knowledge
💻 Windows & Linux Servers
📧 Microsoft Active Directory & Exchange Server
🖥️ VMware virtualization
🌐 Routers, Switches & Firewalls
