We are currently looking for a talented PHP Developer for one of our major clients in the Technology sector.

The position is remote, in Greece

Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong understanding of content management systems, having particular familiarity with Drupal and Joomla. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, integrating third-party services, and optimizing backend functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, primarily on Drupal and Joomla platforms
• Customize and extend CMS features based on client or project requirements
• Write clean, well-structured, and documented code
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development cycles
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose practical solutions for improving web development processes
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, security, and performance standards are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional PHP development experience
• Familiarity with Drupal (7/8/9/10) and Joomla (3.x/4.x)
• Familiarity with MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and version control (Git)
• Experience developing custom modules, plugins, or themes in CMS environments
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
