We are looking for a Data Operations Coordinator – a proactive individual with a growth mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of daily data flows, support our data operations infrastructure, and act as the key link between the Data Operations team, stakeholders, and ticketing systems.

Success in this position requires excellent prioritization, clear communication, and a solid understanding of business needs to guarantee efficient workflows and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead a team of developers handling daily data flows and ETL processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flows, ensuring timely incident management and user support.
• Manage, triage, and prioritize daily tickets for the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Implement and maintain best practices in data operations and ETL processes.
• Document data flows, ETL pipelines, and incident management procedures (aligned with ITIL4 principles).
• Contribute to the design and development of new data solutions and system enhancements.
• Drive continuous improvement in data operations, focusing on data quality and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Strong experience with MSSQL (Linked Servers, SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures).
• Expertise in query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans, and performance troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Familiarity with data flow management tools and platforms.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation and data manipulation.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform and backend visualization setup (e.g., Grafana dashboards).
• Experience in data transport solutions across technical stacks – (S)FTP, REST API, Azure Data Factory, RabbitMQ.
