We are seeking for a Database Administrator to join our client’s Database Administration team in banking sector.
 
You’ll be part of a talented team of Engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure by ensuring system reliability, implementing new features and providing technical support for Operations.
 
As a database administrator, your role will be crucial for maintaining, expanding, and troubleshooting the infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), on-premises and in the Cloud.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain database environments.
• Proactively ensure database availability, performance, and security.
• Implement backup, recovery, and redundancy strategies.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve database performance issues.
• Participate in IT projects and provide technical support to teams as needed.

Required Skills:

• 3 years+ Hands-on experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL (2016/2019/2022).
• Knowledge of backup/restore, log shipping, and basic performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Veeam or similar backup tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot common SQL issues.
• Basic scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell) is a plus..
