We are currently seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer for one of our major clients in the IT sector.

Job Profile
We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer with more than 2 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support and drive a major migration project, ensuring a smooth transition of data, stored procedures, and application logic with high reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts to support migration activities.
- Analyze legacy database structures and logic to design equivalent or improved solutions in the target environment.
- Participate in data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and transformation efforts.
- Troubleshoot migration issues, manage exception handling, and ensure data integrity across environments.
- Collaborate closely with database administrators, application developers, and business analysts.
- Assist in performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL programs.
- Create and maintain documentation for migration processes, technical specifications, and best practices.
- Support testing phases (unit, integration, user acceptance) to validate migrated components.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and Oracle database architecture.
- Solid experience writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Familiarity with data migration or system modernization projects.
- Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting PL/SQL code.
- Ability to analyze existing database logic and translate it into clean, maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, or TOAD.
- Exposure to ETL processes or tools (e.g., ODI, Informatica) is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or automation tooling related to database deployment.
