We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team for insurance related projects.

As an Application Developer you will translate system requirements into the design and development. You will manage the life cycle of projects by assessing how well the delivered solutions fulfill the requirements and meet the business need.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced developers with previous experience in the end-to-end design, development
• Work and liaise directly with the Organizations Front & Middle Office and various functions to gather the requirements
• Understand and participate actively to issue solving (Incidents, Service Requests etc)
• Work in a proper development environment: CI/CD
• Write robust code along with accompanying test suites
• Participate to several testing phases

Requirements

• Microsoft Visual Studio: C++, C#, Visual Basic
• .NET
• SSRS
• REST API & Services development
• Microsoft SQL
• SQL Oracle

• Visual Cobol knowledge will be considered as a plus

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Design, Development & Sizing projects. Experience in Insurance industry will be considered as a plus.
• Understanding of software development life cycle and delivery process and source control management (Jira, Git, etc.)
• Functional programming experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.
• Be a self-starter and be able to quickly grasp and understand existing software.
• Coordinate with other teams in Technology
