We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to join our growing team. for a government’s long-term project. This role is about taking the lead in maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the reliability of existing Java-based enterprise applications. You will be responsible for understanding the system inside and out, acting as the go-to person for its ongoing performance, stability, and technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of an existing Java-based application, ensuring high performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Maintain and enhance Java-based enterprise systems with a strong focus on scalability and stability.
• Design and optimize Oracle queries for high-efficiency data manipulation.
• Maintain and improve RESTful and SOAP APIs that enable communication between internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support middleware integration and data exchange between platforms.
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues including latency and availability.
• Apply and uphold best practices including testing, and version control.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Solid experience with enterprise Java (J2EE).
• Experience with version control (GIT, Subversion) and build tools (Maven).
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and experience collaborating on front-end integrations.
• Bonus: Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset for system maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as the system owner.
