We are seeking a skilled Functional Analyst Tester with a focus on manual testing to join our team for banking-related projects. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in manual testing, particularly in the banking or financial sector, and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of thebanking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform manual testing on banking systems, payment processes, and core banking operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle using appropriate tools.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by creating detailed test plans and reports.
• Validate and verify system behavior through SQL queries for database checks and validations.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues encountered during testing.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.

Required skills:

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing, ideally in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with banking systems, payment processes, and core banking operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validations.
