We are currently looking for an IT Portfolio Analyst & Planning Specialist to join our Team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking sector.
As an IT Infrastructure Portfolio Analyst & Planning Specialist you will work horizontally within the sector and across rest Bank units, coordinating units’ CAPEX budget activities/lifecycle, delivery plans and monitoring performance execution. Its overall mission entails the alignment of the organization’s business strategy, priorities and goals with the IT delivery.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate the CAPEX budgeting formulation, approval, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Annual preparation and financial monitoring of Sector’s CAPEX budget setting.
- Collaborate with Budget owners, assuring the purchase requisition of needs stays ahead of project’s starting date to successfully maintain project’s baseline and deliverables on time.
- Cost optimization & sizing of Infrastructure needs (H/W, S/W & Licenses).
- Purchase maker of RTB & Business needs in SAP Ariba Spend Management.
- Daily tracking and monitoring of Sector’s PRs end-to-end until procurement.
– Collaborate with IT cross-functional teams (such as Business Partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Asset Managers) for demand evaluation and quarterly planning, ensuring full alignment with business needs and priorities.
- Develop and maintain Projects Portfolio Roadmap in line with the Bank’s targets; oversee IT human resources planning to optimize resource allocation and skillset utilization.
- Conduct feasibility and impact assessment exercises for addressing urgent demand; resolve resource conflicts, escalate risks and propose corrective actions.
- Gather and compile the data required for insightful reports and presentations to the Bank Management, depicting the IT Projects Portfolio status and supporting decision making.
Requirements:
- BSc/BA or MSc in Financial, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience within an established organization in IT or Banking industry, especially in the areas of Financial, and/or Demand and Project Management
- Proficient in the MS Office suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Showcase excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (Greek & English).
- Have high level of analytical and synthetic thinking in the framework of data processing and interpretation.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and ‘can-do’ attitude.
