We are looking for a Medior Project Manager with a strong background in managing digital banking projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving complex digital transformation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a balance of leadership, technical knowledge, and project management expertise in the digital banking domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Lead project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery of digital banking solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance standards, methodologies, and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Manage communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, and create mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business, legal, compliance, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to project team members.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met.
  • Ensure resource allocation aligns with project priorities and requirements.
  • Track resource utilization and adjust resource plans as needed.
  • Ensure the successful deployment of digital banking solutions, meeting the defined quality standards.
  • Oversee testing, UAT, and deployment stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards, particularly in the financial services domain.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in digital banking, fintech, or financial services or any other Enterprise Level Company from other industries.
  • Proven track record in delivering digital banking or financial technology projects.
  • Experience in managing projects with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Some Technical Knowledge will be favorable:
  • Understanding of digital banking platforms, channels (mobile/online banking), and technologies.
  • Knowledge of payment systems, digital wallets, APIs, Open Banking, and cloud-based banking solutions.
  • Familiarity with banking regulatory frameworks (PSD2, AML, GDPR).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • High degree of adaptability, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
