We are currently looking for a talented IT Project Manager for one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including goals, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate project activities, tasks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and priorities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
• Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, clarifications, and escalations, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects in a mid-senior level capacity, preferably within Banking/Finance sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and motivate team members.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing relationships at various organizational levels.
