💻 IT Services for Public Sector

📍 Limassol (On-Site), Cyprus

On behalf of a Public Sector Entity, we are looking for IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team and provide reliable day-to-day technical services to ensure smooth operations across all organizational units.

Purpose of the Position:

To provide onsite technical support for IT systems and equipment, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the Organization’s infrastructure. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, user support and equipment management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide daily IT support to users across all buildings of the Public Sector Entity.
  • Detect and resolve connection issues in systems, applications, and software (Windows, Office, etc.).
  • Install, configure, and assign IT equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, phones, printers, photocopiers, etc.) for new and existing staff.
  • Install, configure, and assign software licenses (email & Office licenses, AutoCAD licenses, etc.) for new and existing staff.
  • Manage user accounts and passwords.
  • Set up remote access for laptops (VPN).
  • Operate and manage the ticketing system and schedule resolution of issues reported by staff.
  • Apply basic knowledge of network and system security.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades.
  • Manage IT equipment and consumable inventory and update stock in the department’s automated system.
  • Record technical problems and solutions.
  • Prepare user manuals and instructions.
  • Document daily IT activities.
  • Support presentations, events, or equipment installations.

What We’re Looking For:

🎓 Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (2 years) in Computer Science or a related field.

or

  • Currently studying for a 2-year Diploma or a Degree in a relevant IT field.

💻 Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of IT systems, software and networks.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and network security.
  • Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software.

💬 Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills for supporting users.

🗣️ Fluency in Greek & English is required.
