We are currently looking for a talented Network Administrator on behalf of a major Bank in Greece.

Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Network Administrator to join the Bank’s IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking and network security, with hands-on experience managing and supporting technologies including Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operation and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Configure and manage Cisco switches and routers, ensuring proper routing, VLAN segmentation, and QoS.
  • Administer and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls for threat prevention, URL filtering, and VPN configurations.
  • Support and optimize Aruba wireless infrastructure, including APs and mobility controllers.
  • Manage FortiGate firewalls for perimeter and internal network security, including VPNs, NAT, and firewall policies.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and vulnerability scans, implementing remediation strategies as needed.
  • Respond to and resolve complex network issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning and testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in network administration or a related role.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Cisco (routing/switching, IOS/IOS-XE)
    • Palo Alto Networks (Next-Gen Firewall, Panorama)
    • Aruba Networks (Mobility Controllers, ClearPass is a plus)
    • Fortinet FortiGate (firewall configuration, VPN, UTM features)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, IPsec, GRE, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
  • Experience with high availability and redundancy design (HA, failover, load balancing).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or Aruba Certified Professional.
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments or with SD-WAN solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and best practices in network security.
