Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the cybersecurity landscape of a leading financial institution? We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our client, a major player in the banking sector.

This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to lead security strategies, architect cutting-edge solutions, and protect mission-critical banking services across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will work alongside top-tier Security & IT teams, embedding best practices, enhancing security frameworks, and ensuring uninterrupted, secure operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Architect & Implement Security Solutions – Design, deploy, and maintain next-gen security technologies across on-prem and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS/GCP).
• Lead Cybersecurity Initiatives – Drive security enhancements, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
• Proactively Defend & Respond – Monitor threats, conduct security assessments, and optimize security tools (SIEM, XDR, EDR, Sentinel).
• Collaborate & Innovate – Work cross-functionally with IT and Security teams to implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Optimize & Automate – Leverage scripting (Python, Bicep, KQL) to automate security operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity within established organizations.
• Expertise in Cyber Defense, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Cyber Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, networking, container security (Openshift/Kubernetes), and application security.
• Experience in application servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and advanced architecture design (2-tier/3-tier apps).
• Ability to lead cross-functional security projectsand align initiatives with business objectives.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and leadership skills to build trust across teams.
