We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking industry.

As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java technology stack. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our projects forward and ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Implement batch processing solutions using Spring Batch to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Utilize Quartz for scheduling and managing background jobs within our applications.
• Develop user-friendly web interfaces using Vaadin, ensuring optimal user experience and engagement.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate applications with Db2 databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
• Work with EGL for legacy system integration and modernization efforts.
• Deploy and configure applications on WebSphere Liberty application server.

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a Java development role

• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong focus on Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Quartz.
• Experience, or familiarity with Vaadin is highly desirable.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Familiarity with Db2 database management and EGL for legacy system integration.
• Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty application server and its configuration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
