We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer that will be part of our team and work for one of our major clients based in Belgium.

The services will be provided on site in Brussels area and the applicant should be eligible to travel.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will provide the service using an Agile and iterative approach during multiple sprints. Each sprint is planned for a duration of 1 week. The content and scope of each sprint will be agreed during the spring-planning meeting, in writing. Sprint activities are related to:

• Produce and maintain architecture material
• Provide guidance, monitor, control and review architectures implementation by Program and Projects
• Control coherency across Programs and Projects
• Enforce usage of Design Guidance and Patterns in Projects and Programs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in large and complex Communication and Information Systems (CIS) engineering and design, including Communication Systems, Networks, Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, Monitoring and Control, Interoperability
• Knowledge and experience in system architecture and design
• Knowledge in Enterprise and Capability architecture
• Experience in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with CIS related international / commercial / industrial standards
• A minimum of 5 years of sound experience in those fields.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience with CIS systems
• Experience with deployable CIS systems
• Experience in Project Management
• Experience in Service Design and Management
• Experience with management frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, etc.
• Experience in Architecture frameworks and modelling languages such as TOGAF, NAF, Archimate, SysML, etc.
• Prior experience of working in an international environment
