We are currently looking for a talented System Administrator on behalf of one of our major clients in the Advertising sector.

Scope:

• Work closely with development team and with the hosting providers companies
• Support development teams to tune web application stacks

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor daily and improve all operating systems
• Perform security scans periodically
• Setup new servers / upload live new websites – ecommerce apps
• Implement website upgrades in coordination with the development team
• Review new technologies

Requirements:

Knowledge of the following technologies / systems are required:

• Operating Systems (Linux)
• Web Servers (Apache HTTP Server, Nginx)
• Proxy Servers
• Database Management Systems (MySql)
• Programming Languages (Understanding of languages like PHP)
• Web Application Acceleration/ Caching
• Load Balancers
• Security (SSL/TLS, Firewalls etc)
• Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning (Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in web application stacks)
