We are currently seeking a talented Technology Specialist on behalf of a major European Union Agency.

Location: Malta, Valletta

Seniority: Senior (10+ years of experience in the requested field)

Working model: Light hybrid (10% on-site, 90% off-site)

Estimated duration: 120 days (12 days on-site and 108 days off-site)

Salary range: freelancers with 270-290 euros daily rate

Duties/Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on usage as well as perform security audits of the systems.
• Interact with project teams and other stakeholders involved in SharePoint infrastructure and applications.
• Produce and maintain documentation relevant to the activities.
• Perform monthly patching of SharePoint infrastructure.
• Suggest and implement improvements such as automation of the maintenance activities.
• Build SharePoint SE environments, using AutoSP Installer and DSC (Desired State Configuration).
• Improve redundancy and disaster recoveries capabilities of the EU Agency’s SharePoint Farms
• Administration of platforms SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016/2019, SharePoint SE and SharePoint Online platforms.
• Automations for SharePoint online using Power App flows.
• Perform migrations from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint SE.

Requirements

The candidate needs to illustrate how s/he will perform the tasks, independently and with quality, with the following technologies and environments, when required by the implementation:

• Project coordination and training procedures, preferably involving a recognised methodology.
• SharePoint architecture both on-premises an online.
• Independently perform tasks management in the SharePoint environment, Atlassian suite or similar software.
