We’re looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking sector.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our Windows-based server environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support critical business applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize services such as IIS, DFS.
• Monitor and enhance system performance.
• Provide support for virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure system reliability and security.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services and provide SharePoint support.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, especially related to security protocols and cypher suites.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive system tuning.
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in a banking or financial environment will be considered a plus.
• Strong expertise with Windows Server technologies and related infrastructure services (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS).
• Experience with SSL/TLS, certificate management, cyphers, and secure communication protocols.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SCOM, and APM monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and VMware environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to system administration.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
