We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Infrastructure Domain Architect to join our client’s Group IT team in banking sector.

By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Group IT Operations and will be responsible for designing/ analyzing & delivering infrastructure solutions by, architecting & delivering modern technologies, embedding security best practices in every implementation, maintaining the uninterrupted operations of our banking services & platforms, either hosted in client’s own DC premises or on public cloud providers.

As a Infrastructure Domain Architect, a hands-on role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge technologies, your responsibilities will extend to lead design & implementation aiming the continuous improvement of the standards and security frameworks. Will work closely with the Group IT Security & Group IT teams for the implementation of new or existing technologies, policies and procedures, ensuring IT systems availability and leading relevant initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the architecture and deployment of new or existing technologies to improve ways of working and overall efficiency of client’s posture; deep experience on both on-premises and cloud technologies (including OSs, virtualization, databases security, networking, firewalling, cloud security (Azure and AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies such as Openshift/Kubernetes
  • Strong experience of Application Servers implementation (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and Advance Architecture Design knowledge (2Tier/3Tier Applications)
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 2003-2008-2012-2016 Operating Systems and above
  • Ensure infrastructure and operational services adhere to agreed-upon security and service levels, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of security implementations
  • Domain Services medium/advanced knowledge
  • Knowledge of RDBMs (SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.) and connectivity between Application and Database
  • Basic Knowledge of networking (Firewall, Load Balancing, Routing)
  • Good Knowledge of Hypervisors standards (VMWare/Hyper-V)
  • Technical Project Management skills (required for Units’ projects coordination)

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 10 years of relevant professional experience within an established organization in Banking, or consulting industry; experience on collaborating and presenting to top management
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field of study
  • Have deep understanding of infrastructure architecture and experience on coordinating complex cross functional IT projects with large teams
  • Are fluent in English
  • Being able to build confidence on the teams that will work with
