We are currently looking for a talented Senior Network Engineer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Gaming sector.

Location: Athens, Greece (hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our Client’s dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, incident handling, and proactive management of a wide range of network technologies and devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high availability and optimal performance across our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Network Setup & Configuration:

• Design, implement, and configure network solutions, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Ensure network installations align with industry standards, organizational policies, and security best practices.

Troubleshooting & Incident Handling:

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Handle incident escalations, root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

Proactive Management:

• Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance on network devices.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Switches: Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, Dell, or equivalent switch technologies.
• Routers: Proficiency in managing Cisco and Juniper routers.
• Network Firewalls: Advanced knowledge of firewall technologies, including Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate, and F5.
• Network Load Balancers: Experience with load balancing solutions such as F5 and Citrix NetScaler.
• VPN Solutions: Expertise in configuring and managing VPN technologies like Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate, and F5.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering roles.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
