We are looking for a skilled Oracle Developer to join a high-impact team supporting a major client in the defense sector. The role involves working on mission-critical business applications, contributing to both ongoing operations and the evolution of enterprise systems.
You will collaborate closely with service owners, delivery managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of Oracle-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of assigned business applications and services within the Oracle ecosystem.

Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, including:

Responding to service requests
-
Investigating and resolving incidents and problems
-
Advising users on improvements and best practices
-

Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of new requirements and change requests.

Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including:
-
Requirements specifications
-
Functional and technical design documents
-
System documentation and deliverables
-
-
Provide time estimates for development and implementation activities.

Ensure full lifecycle testing of changes prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).

Actively contribute to cross-service integration efforts and related projects.

Participate in knowledge-sharing activities, including presentations and briefings.

Stay current with industry trends through training and professional development.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Strong experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/Oracle BI) and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
-
Proven background in Oracle development and support environments
-
Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and system optimization
-
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes
-
Ability to create clear and structured technical documentation
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have

Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments

Familiarity with IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL)
