We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus (on-site role). The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business needs, improving business processes, and supporting the successful implementation of enterprise IT systems. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective technology solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, validate, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and digital transformation.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform business process modelling, gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Produce and maintain business analysis documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Support solution design by preparing use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide business support during implementation, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and development teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and best practices.
  • Support project governance by ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and change management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum six (6) years of professional experience, acquired after obtaining the university degree, in:
    • Business Analysis for the implementation of Information Systems; and/or
    • Analysis of existing production Information Systems; or
    • A combination of both.
  • Proven participation as a Business Analyst in at least two (2) successfully completed IT projects within the last six (6) years, each with a minimum project value of €150,000 (excluding VAT and excluding maintenance/support costs).
  • Strong experience in business requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience in business process analysis and process modelling.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in public sector projects or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience working in projects with institutional, regulatory, interoperability, or restricted data access requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and collaborative project management tools.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.
