We are currently seeking a talented Temenos Administrator on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

 

 

Location: Athens, Greece

Working model: hybrid

Salary range: 2600 – 3000 euros gross

 

 

Position Summary

The Temenos Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the Temenos Core Banking platform. This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the banking application environment while supporting business operations, technology teams, and vendors. The administrator plays a key role in system upgrades, incident resolution, environment management, and operational excellence in compliance with banking standards and regulatory requirements.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain the Temenos Core Banking environment (e.g., T24/Transact and associated components).
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and operational stability across production and non-production environments.
  • Perform application deployments, patches, upgrades, and configuration changes following change management processes.
  • Monitor system health, application logs, batch processing, interfaces, and scheduled jobs, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity testing, and backup/recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshoot application, middleware, and infrastructure-related incidents, coordinating with internal teams and Temenos/vendor support as required.
  • Manage user access, security configurations, and system administration activities in accordance with information security policies.
  • Support integrations between Temenos and surrounding banking systems, including payment platforms, digital channels, reporting, and third-party applications.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, audit requirements, and internal governance standards.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network, cybersecurity, and application development teams to deliver stable and secure services.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience administering Temenos Core Banking solutions (T24/Transact).
  • Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments and application servers.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
  • Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated banking environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Temenos Infinity, Temenos Payments, or other Temenos modules.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
  • ITIL Foundation or other relevant certifications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools and service management platforms.
