On behalf of our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Web Developer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the design and development of modern, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using PHP.
• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs.
• Build and enhance frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, high-performance systems.
• Implement and manage authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, DevOps).
• Design and optimize database schemas to support business processes.
• Ensure code quality, testing, and adherence to best development practices.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Solid understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of scalable application design.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Strong database design skills.
• Good knowledge of SQL and declarative query languages.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud environments).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. banking, finance).
• Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices.
