We are seeking for a/an experienced, Regulatory Business Analyst and liaison to join our Regulatory Initiatives Coordination Unit (RIC) within our Group Organization and Business Analysis- Group IT.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of the RIC and you will be responsible for managing regulatory obligations internally and collaborating with external bodies. The role includes monitoring regulatory developments, coordinating internal units, conducting regulatory impact analyses, and maintaining the Bank’s Internal Governance Model in the context of its cooperation with the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA).
Key responsibilities will be:
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes and updates issued by the Hellenic Bank Association and other regulatory bodies.
- Inform and coordinate internal units regarding new requirements and consultations.
- Participate in interbank working groups and HBA meetings.
- Prepare well-documented responses to supervisory authorities.
- Conduct legal and regulatory impact analyses.
- Draft memos, reports, and recommendations.
- Maintain and update the ERB–HBA Internal Governance Model.
- Participate in regulatory projects of the Bank, highlighting delays or issues that require escalation or resolution.
- Analyse regulatory requirements and map affected business areas.
- Identify ownership of the regulatory framework within the respective business units.
Would be a great candidate if:
- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience within an established organization in Banking
- Have strong stakeholder coordination skills (including workshops, and processes of technical and functional requirements)
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have good knowledge of the Regulatory Framework
- Ability to navigate legal websites and identify relevant sources, explanatory reports, and supporting regulatory documentation
- Possess excellent communication and documentation skills
- Have good command of the English language
Also
• Experience participating in HBA working groups.
• Experience in regulatory projects.
• Postgraduate studies in Compliance, Law, Finance, or Governance will be appreciated.
