We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Azure Cloud tools like Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, and Databricks.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on new data engineering trends and apply them to improve systems.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
• Proficient in Azure Cloud tools (Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, Databricks, Spark).
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and IaC.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with MLOps and machine learning pipelines.
• Background in insurance or familiarity with industry-specific data.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
