We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Azure Cloud tools like Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, and Databricks.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on new data engineering trends and apply them to improve systems.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
- Proficient in Azure Cloud tools (Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, Databricks, Spark).
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and IaC.
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
