We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a fully open-source Data Lakehouse platform and scalable data integration pipelines.

The expert will contribute to the development of a modern data platform enabling analytics, reporting, and AI use cases while ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

Tasks

• Design and implement Data Lakehouse architecture
• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, and streaming platforms
• Ensure data validation, monitoring, and testing
• Optimize queries, pipelines, and workflows
• Produce technical documentation
• Support deployment and configuration
• Participate in technical and project meetings

Required Expertise

• 10+ years experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience with Spark, Trino, dbt
• Excellent SQL
• Good Python
• Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi
• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
