We are looking for a SQL Server DBA to support our clients by managing and maintaining their SQL Server environments. Your role will include backups, restores, performance tuning, and ensuring that databases run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor SQL Server instances (setup, updates, troubleshooting).
• Perform database backups and restores (using Veeam or native tools).
• Handle log shipping and basic disaster recovery setups.
• Perform routine database maintenance (index rebuilds, integrity checks).
• Optimize databases for better performance (index tuning, query improvements).
• Set up new SQL Server installations as needed.
• Document processes and provide clear updates to clients.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Knowledge of backup/restore, log shipping, and basic performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Veeam or similar backup tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot common SQL issues.
• Basic scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell) is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a managed services or outsourced IT environment.
• Microsoft SQL certifications.
