We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our client’s Database Administration team within our Systems Management Division.

You’ll be part of a talented team of Engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure by ensuring system reliability, implementing new features and providing technical support for our Operations.

As a database administrator, your role will be crucial for maintaining, expanding, and troubleshooting our infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage and monitor NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, etc.) on-prem or on Cloud.

• Install, configure, test and maintain databases.

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems availability.

• Maintain optimum performance, security, backup/recovery and redundancy strategies.

• Create and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any task.

• Involvement in IT Projects and providing support to Technical Teams.

• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Developers to implement those fixes.

You will be a great candidate for this role if you:

• Solid understanding of RDBMS.

• Experience with Linux (Red Hat) will be considered as an asset.

• Scripting skills are an important asset.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Greek and English).
