We are currently seeking a talented Enterprise Architect on behalf of a major European Union Organisation.

Working model: hybrid

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Salary range: 450 – 490 euros daily rate as freelancer

Responsibilities

• Establishes processes for enterprise architecture developments and management
• Supports programmes and projects in planning and controlling (especially regarding risk management), harmonizing, change management and assures architectural compliancy
• Consult and contributes to development of architectural capabilities of the organization and the architecture management initiatives
• Designs and communicates enterprise architecture
• Designs and maintains architectural repository
• Design interoperability and interfaces between systems
• Elicits needs, analyses requirements
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into architectures
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
• Defines transition roadmaps for architectures
• Prepares system documentation and provides presentations
• Collects and interprets system metrics
• Provides as assistance to projects which implement the elements of enterprise architecture
• Assesses architecture maturity
• Analyses organisational structures
• Analyses information systems portfolio
• Analyses business processes
• Conducts IS costs/benefits analysis
   

Knowledge and experience

• Has performed the role of Enterprise Architect in an organization
• Experience in the governance of architecture function
• Has hands-on experience in building EA culture and practices throughout the organization
• Expert in enterprise and business architecture design
• Familiar with business process development, value streams and capability maps design
• Good knowledge of enterprise architecture domains
• Good knowledge about maturity models analyses and frameworks
• Is proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
• Familiar with market wide designing architecture standards or frameworks such as, TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar
• Expert knowledge in computer science and IT to research IT solutions and identify ways to enhance existing operations 

Skills and Abilities

• Efficiency in time management, project management and demonstrative of the company’s service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Holds ability to document effectively
• Presents problem solving skills
• Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies, business cases, visions, analytical models
• Presents leadership skills
• Capability of working in an international / multicultural environment
• Skills in developing standards and policies that guide the use of IT assets
• Excellent communication skills for educating employees on best practices for applying the company’s IT products, resources and solutions
• Ability to scrutinise the domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent
• Ability to analyse data and information generated by the enterprise and operational labour structure to identify cost-savings opportunities 

Certifications

At least 1 certification among the following:

• The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA)
• Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect
• CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSIP-ISSAP)
• ITIL v3 Master certification or equivalent
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA)
