We are currently seeking a talented Functional Analyst/QA Tester on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.
Location: Athens, Greece
Working model: hybrid (mainly remote)
Seniority: 1-3 years of relevant experience
Salary range: 1700 – 2000 euros gross
Start date: ASAP (the latest 1st of September)
Job Profile
In general, the role is FA/QA (Functional Analyst/Quality Assurance). The successful newcomers join the teams as testers (QAs) but they should quickly understand and develop the functional analysis (FA) part of their role, to support and guide the rest of the team members.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop a test plan aligned with project milestones
- Generate test data aligned with customer demands
- Conduct manual test cases and assessing outcomes
- Report issues/defects
- Monitor software defects and customer issues, oversee their resolution, and re-test post-resolution
- Collaborate with the Development and Support teams to diagnose issues and extract pertinent information from system
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Create acceptance criteria in the user stories
- Assist in writing functional specifications that developers can implement
- Clarifying business rules for developers
- Ensuring the delivered solution meets regulatory and business requirements
- Reviewing requirements
- Analyzing banking processes such as Account opening, Loans, Credit cards, KYC (Know Your Customer), etc.
