We are currently seeking a talented IT Project Manager (Junior-Mid) on behalf of one of our major clients in the Financial/Payments Technology sector.
Location: Athens, Greece
Working model: hybrid
Salary range: 2000 – 2300 euros gross
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager with 3+ years of project management experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of technology initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, QA engineers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple IT projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify project requirements.
- Lead project planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and status meetings where applicable.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners when required.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project delivery and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing IT or software development projects.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or CAPM certification.
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of software architecture and modern application development practices.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
