We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Engineer to join our growing team for one of our leader clients in the Telco and Energy sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining complex Java-based applications, with a solid experience working with Springboot framework.
This role offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to play a key role in creating efficient, scalable, and reliable software solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.
- Build applications with Quarkus or Springboot frameworks.
- Create and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless system communication.
- Integrate with third-party systems and support middleware development for efficient data exchange.
- Participate in code reviews, follow best software engineering practices, and ensure code quality.
- Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins to manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Monitor application performance and resolve issues related to latency, availability, and scalability.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a knowledge-sharing and collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Deep understanding of enterprise Java development (J2EE) and microservices architecture.
- Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
- Experienced in containerized frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands on experience in using AI tools such as Apache Thrift, GitHub Copilot, Kite, SonarQube, and Eclipse.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for system communication.
- Experience with Source Control (GIT, Subversion etc.) and Build Tools (Maven).
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting latency, availability, and scalability issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Completed military obligations for male candidates
