One of our clients in the finance industry is looking to hire a motivated Software Developer to help design and implement web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within an agile team to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, LANSA, and others.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality code for large-scale applications.
• Ensure effective team collaboration and communication.
• Draft and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Solid understanding of database concepts (e.g., SQL, DB2, MS Access).
• Quality-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent team player with good collaboration skills.
• Good command of English (both written and spoken).

Desired Experience (Advantage but not mandatory):

• Practical experience with Java.
• Experience with web services (REST or SOAP).
• Knowledge of XML and relational databases (especially SQL).
