We are currently looking for a talented Mid-Senior .NET Backend Developer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

Location: Athens, hybrid

Seniority: Mid-Senior level (5+ years of experience preferred)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in VB.NET and C#.NET, extensive experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, and a solid understanding of backend development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions using VB.NET and C#.NET.
• Build, test, and optimize REST and SOAP APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
• Create and maintain efficient database solutions using SQL Server, including designing schemas, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity.
• Design, implement, and maintain microservices to enable modular and scalable system design.
• Work with WCF and Web APIs to integrate backend systems with third-party applications and internal platforms.
• Leverage ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework, NHibernate) to simplify database interactions and improve performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in VB.NET and C#.NET development (5+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs with practical implementation experience.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database design, optimization, and management.
• Hands-on experience with WCF and Web APIs for building service-oriented applications.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and related development practices.
• Experience with ORM tools like Entity Framework, NHibernate, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
