We are currently looking for a talented Native Android Engineer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

Scope:

We are seeking a highly skilled Native Android Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in native Android development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications that adhere to best practices and deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements, develop features, and implement solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following established coding standards and conventions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in Android development and incorporate them into our development process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize performance, and address security vulnerabilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• Experience with Android architecture components such as MVVM, LiveData, and Room.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data parsing.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
