We are currently looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer (Kotlin & Typescript) on behalf of one of our major clients in the Entertainment sector.

Scope:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic professional with a keen interest in streaming applications to elevate our Cloud and Web Scrum team. As a key contributor, you’ll spearhead the development of robust backend infrastructure powering our Web, Mobile, and TV Apps.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop clean and efficient code using TypeScript and Kotlin, leveraging frameworks like Nest.JS and Spring Boot.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of our Serverless Code.
• Maintain and scale our AWS Cloud Infrastructure, employing Infrastructure as Code and AWS UI configuration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver new features.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs to uphold high code quality.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure product quality.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce code quality and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of prior experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Nest.JS and Spring Boot.
• Strong API Design skills.
• Experience in Developing and Maintaining Serverless Applications.
• Familiarity with testing libraries like JUnit for Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and E2E testing.
• Solid experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of Best Practices when Designing Traffic Intensive Applications.
• Understanding of Distributed Systems and SOA patterns.
• Understanding of Security Best Practices.
• Extensive experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, such as CircleCI, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience working in a startup environment applying Agile Methodologies.
