We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join NCIA in Mons. You will be responsible for leading complex ICT and capability projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities (Duties)

  • Manage projects to ensure they are delivered within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality tolerances.
  • Develop and maintain agreed project and resource plans, as well as detailed stage plans, in compliance with NCIA directives and project management best practices.
  • Identify, plan, request, and manage resource deployments to meet project milestones, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Develop procurement strategies, benefit-risk analyses, and business cases to secure sponsor acceptance and funding.
  • Monitor and control project financial status and execute project management duties within the Agency’s defined Procure-to-Pay process.
  • Execute necessary Quality Assurance functions essential to the successful delivery of capabilities and services.
  • Support reporting and communications with the Service Centre and NCIA’s senior leadership to ensure projects are effectively monitored and controlled across all management levels.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder groups and build strong networks to gain support for successful project delivery.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a nationally recognised/certified university in a related discipline, plus at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, OR
  • Exceptionally, a minimum of 6 years of extensive and progressive expertise in project management if no degree is held.
