We are currently looking for a talented Senior Java Engineer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Banking sector.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer with a strong background in testing web and mobile applications. This role involves hands-on development, test strategy implementation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java programming, software testing methodologies, and a deep understanding of the mobile and web application ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based applications for mobile and web platforms.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing, to ensure software quality.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for mobile and web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to deliver seamless and functional user experiences.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues across mobile and web platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on web and mobile application testing.
• Hands-on experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Java and its associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Strong experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCTest.
• Knowledge of web testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration testing.
