We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join the Core Banking Technology team of one of its major clients in the banking sector.

The role focuses on the design, development, and support of enterprise-grade core banking systems, operating in a highly regulated environment where reliability, performance, and data accuracy are critical.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain core banking software applications using .NET / C#.
  • Participate in the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Document system design, implementation, and usage of banking applications.
  • Prepare test data and perform thorough testing to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects found during testing or production.
  • Develop high-performance ASP.NET Core Web APIs and integrate banking systems with third-party services.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other IT team members.
  • Support production environments and ensure the smooth operation of core banking systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in core banking or enterprise-level systems.
  • Experience developing Windows Forms (WinForms) applications and user-friendly UIs.
  • Knowledge of event-driven programming and custom control development.
  • Proven experience building performance-sensitive Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, middleware, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, complex queries, stored procedures, database design, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Blazor and component-based architecture is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, SSMS, Entity Framework Core, .NET Core, .NET Framework, xUnit, NUnit, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and DevExpress will be considered an advantage.
