We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test Automation to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of initiatives, including:

• Development of new test automation implementations based on the team’s backlog.
• Participation in major upcoming projects, including DGE, requiring strong experience in both UI test automation and backend/API testing.
• Design and implementation of performance, load, and stress testing suites for REST APIs and WebSocket-based applications.
• Automation of BAU (Business as Usual) activities through the creation of new pipelines and processes in collaboration with the DevOps team.
• Continuous improvement of testing frameworks, methodologies, and automation coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Newman, or similar technologies.
• Experience with load and stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadUI, or equivalent).
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Java.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and API testing methodologies.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to collective goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working within Agile development teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo, GitLab, and CI/CD environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Industry certifications such as:
  • ISTQB Certified Tester
  • Certified Test Automation Engineer
  • ISTQB Agile Tester
  • Other relevant QA certifications

Monthly Salary
2800-3200 gross /monthly €
(Depending on Experience)
