We are currently seeking a talented Test Technician on behalf of a major European Union Organisation.

Working model: Remote

Salary range: 2000 – 2300 euros gross

Job Profile

We are looking for a Test Technician to join our team and contribute to the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of our software products and services.

The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and customers to design, execute, and improve software testing activities across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
• Design and execute automated, integration, and end-to-end tests for web applications and services.
• Support testing activities throughout the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects and issues.
• Work with issue management and customer ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with developers, team members, stakeholders, and business customers to understand technical and user requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, concept documents, and end-user documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and practices.
• Work under the supervision of the Team Leader while taking responsibility for assigned areas of work.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B2 level of English according to CEFR.
• At least 4 years of combined post-secondary education and professional experience.
• Level 6 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of experience with automated testing frameworks for:
  • C#
  • JavaScript
  • .NET web applications
  • APIs
• Experience participating in at least two full-lifecycle software projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing integration and end-to-end tests for web applications and services.
• Ability to develop effective test plans and test cases.
• Good understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
• ISTQB Technical Test Analysis Certificate or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

Experience or knowledge of the following would be considered an advantage:

• Linux
• JavaScript, Python, or C#
• Vitest
• Integration testing
• Azure DevOps
• Git
• FX standards
• Unit/microservice testing
• Security verification/testing
• Issue management and customer ticketing systems

Communication Skills

The successful candidate should be able to:

• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and internal and business customers.
• Understand and communicate technical and user requirements.
• Produce clear and accurate technical and end-user documentation.
• Explain testing activities, issues, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
