Job Profile

The role of the Infrastructure & Network Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize Infrastructure and Network projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. With infrastructure and network experience, this individual is responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to successfully deliver projects. In addition to leading projects, the Infrastructure & Network Project Manager will be part of a team driving continuous improvement in delivery practices.

This person will be responsible for a portfolio of IT Infrastructure and Network projects and will be expected to work collaboratively with team members and various stakeholders to scope, deeply understand intended outcomes and success criteria, create a holistic plan to achieve the intended business outcome(s), and lead/drive the effort in coordination with other corporate and value center IT teams. Ultimately, this person will secure stakeholder alignment and ensure/lead the effective execution of IT infrastructure and network projects, including the definition of scope, functional designs, technical designs, and project plans (along with all customary relevant artifacts). Lastly, this person will ensure that at the completion of the project scope, the intended business outcomes are measured and have been realized in an organized and accountable manner.

Requirements and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or associate degree with 8 years of well-rounded, relevant experience. Further education via an M.B.A. is considered a plus
• Skills/Knowledge: Proven experience as a Project Manager in technical infrastructure and network projects
• Demonstrated success in planning and leading complex infrastructure initiatives (e.g., cloud migrations, network upgrades, data center builds, technology implementations, compliance certifications, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Strong working knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Planner, and Azure DevOps
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Experience with vendor management, including SOW development and contract execution
• Certification Desired – such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)

• Ability to influence and drive outcomes across matrixed teams and diverse stakeholders
• Solid relationship management, team performance development, and staff-motivation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and related PM/DevOps tools
• Proactive and proficient at making informed decisions in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills including conflict resolution proficiency
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity for others where blockers / complexity exists
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals, objectives, and how the IT team supports them
• Superior written and verbal communication, conflict-resolution, and consultative skills
