We are currently seeking a talented Web Developer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Financial Technology sector.

Location: Athens (city center), Greece

Seniority: 3+ years of professional front-end development experience

Working model: Hybrid (4 days office – 1 day home)

Salary range: 1600 – 1800 euros gross

Job Profile

The selected candidate will design and develop a progressive web application.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Proven experience building and shipping Progressive Web Applications in production.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major JS framework: Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Deep understanding of Service Workers, Cache API, IndexedDB and PWA lifecycle.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques.
• Version control proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (pull requests, branching).
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SEO best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with WebSockets, WebRTC, or real-time data features.
• Knowledge of mobile-first design principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
