UpcoMinds is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our international delivery team, supporting large-scale European AI and Digital Transformation projects.

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into innovative AI-driven and software solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in multicultural environments, collaborating with international organizations, and contributing to impactful European initiatives.

This position is open exclusively to European Union citizens.

Your Role

As a user-facing and IT liaison specialist, you will bridge the gap between non-technical users and the AI/software development team. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, documenting, and validating business requirements while ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with business stakeholders and end users to elicit, validate, and prioritise business requirements.
• Analyse business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable specifications.
• Analyse and optimise business processes and workflows.
• Perform business modelling, process modelling, impact analysis, feasibility studies, gap analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Produce and maintain high-quality business documentation and functional specifications.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, software developers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and project managers.
• Support solution design by creating use cases, business process models, and low-fidelity wireframes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions meet business expectations.
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide functional analysis and second-level support for business applications when required.
• Recommend process improvements and business optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure business requirements are properly managed within Agile environments and prioritised for development.
• Support user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis.
• Proven experience acting as a liaison between business users and software development teams.
• Strong experience with business analysis methodologies, techniques, and industry-standard tools.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and development of software solutions.
• Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working on digital transformation and AI-enabled projects.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative software delivery.
• Experience in business process modelling and process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multicultural and international project environments.

Language Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate language proficiency equivalent to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):

• French (C2) and English (B2), or
• French (B2) and English (C2)
